Structured Support · Live at Home

Intensive Outpatient Program in Utah, for when weekly sessions aren't enough.

Sometimes an hour a week isn't enough, but stepping away from your whole life isn't the answer either. An intensive outpatient program gives you structured, frequent support while you sleep in your own bed and stay connected to the people who matter.

The Basics

What an intensive outpatient program is.

An intensive outpatient program, or IOP, is a step up from weekly therapy and a step down from inpatient or residential care. You attend structured treatment several times a week, then go home each day, so you get meaningful support without putting the rest of your life on hold.

Our IOP blends group sessions, individual support, and psychiatric oversight, all under the supervision of a board-certified psychiatrist. It's designed for people who need more than a weekly appointment can provide but who are safe to remain at home.

What To Expect

How our IOP works.

A clear structure that meets you where you are.

1

Evaluation

A psychiatrist assesses whether IOP is the right level of care for your needs and goals.

2

Personalized schedule

You're placed into a program schedule of several sessions per week over several weeks.

3

Group & individual work

You build skills in group sessions and work one-on-one, with medication managed as needed.

4

Step-down planning

As you stabilize, we transition you to ongoing outpatient care so progress holds.

Is IOP Right For You?

IOP may be the right level of care if this fits.

Your psychiatrist will confirm the appropriate level of care at your evaluation.

  • Weekly therapy hasn't been enough to keep symptoms manageable.
  • You've recently been in a hospital or crisis and need structured step-down support.
  • You want intensive help but need to keep living at home, working, or caring for family.
  • You're managing depression, anxiety, or co-occurring mental health and substance use.
  • You'd benefit from the accountability and connection of a structured program.
